Apex Legends Mobile season 2 comes to an end on October 18, 2022, and it also marks the beginning of Apex Legends Mobile Season 3. Through Season 2, players got an all-new legend, a new map and some new game modes, now all of them and sitting and wondering what season 3 has got in store for them. Fortunately, Apex Legends Mobile officially announced season 3, Champions, take a look at the launch trailer below:

The Apex Legends Mobile Season 3: Champions launch trailer sees the arrival of a friendly face. This time around it seems that the developers will not be announcing a mobile exclusive character, instead they will be relying on the arrival of one of the fan favourite Legends from the main game, Ash. The trailer also showed the arrival of melee weapons such as The Constellation, Fade’s signature weapon and Ash’s sword.

Fade’s weapon seems to change appearance according to the type of situation they are facing. Players also get to see the arrival of a new face, who we don’t know whether they are a friend or foe. This character is seen enjoying the bouts between all Legends, and when they finally enter the stage to announce Fade as victorious, it invokes an eerie feeling with the way both characters stare down at each other. It appears that the new character is one of the Apex Games Commissioner. Apex Legends Mobile Season 3: Champions is all set to arrive on October 18, 2022.

In other news, the Ranked System of Apex Legends Mobile is undergoing a major revamp. Through community feedback, they have learned all issues and problems that players have been facing with this game mode and are working towards making it better. First and foremost, they have understood that map diversity is important and will be adding more maps to the game. Map rotation will also be in play, and it will alternate between World’s Edge and Kings Canyon every two hours.

Secondly, the point system for Ranked mode will be made more visible for the players. The point fee would increase according to the increasing ranks, and players will always have to pay that fee while entering and earn it back and then some by performing in the match. Thirdly, Legend Perks are being added to Ranked to provide an additional layer of depth to competitive play. All of these changes will be implemented from Season 3 with more to come in the upcoming seasons.
