Valve recently unveiled Counter-Strike 2, which is all set to arrive in Summer 2023. While many players have gained access to the title through the Counter-Strike Limited Test, most of the community wait their hands wide open to gain a chance for access.

The developers at Valve will be bringing on a ton of new changes with the upcoming title through the Source 2 engine. This includes new smoke grenades, visual and gameplay enhancements, and more.

Now, new datamines from the likes of Twitter user Aquarius suggest that Source 2 could allow the title to be ported on mobile platforms such as iOS and Android.

With Counter-Strike’s arch-rival Valorant already being ported to mobile devices by Riot Games, it seems like the platform might soon become the new battlegrounds along with PC, as the two marquee Esports franchises fight for popularity.

Valve reportedly working on new anti-cheat solution for Counter-Strike 2

Hackers and cheaters have been a prime source of concern with Counter-Strike community members, with past titles of the series. And it seems like Valve has major plans to combat these cheaters, as it attempts to improve the professional and casual experience with Counter-Strike 2.

According to Aquarius, the dataminer recently found details for a new anti-cheat measure in the game’s code. The solution in question called “VAC Live” will see a match being cancelled, if a cheater is detected by CS2’s anti-cheat.
