The Counter-Strike: Global Offensive version of the MP5 is known as the MP5-SD comes with an integrated silencer and according to the Counter-Strike blog, the new gun “features higher movement speed at the cost of some damage and accuracy on the move.”
The gun was part of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive beta initially and after the beta testing game maker released the game without it. For those who wanted to upload the MP5 is will replace MP7 in the armory. It is a popular choice in Counter-Strike and Counter-Strike Source due to its low cost, high rate of fire and low recoil.
During the early Counter-Strike MP5 was a popular choice due to affordability and availability despite its less range and harming capabilities. It has never appeared in Global Offensive, as it got replaced by the MP7 till the introduction which happened today.
The Counter-Strike: Global Offensive has massive lethal weapons and with the classic entry it will become interesting how players use the new one among the bounty of options of SMG. Interestingly weapon with immense capabilities was last introduced in the game was R8 Revolver at the end of 2015 and due to hugely powered character game maker was forced to nerfed it within just three days of launch.
