Markets digested US House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s visit to Taiwan on August 2, 2022, which caused many investors to stay away from risky assets amid potential US-China tensions.
Top crypto tokens were trading with decent gains. Uniswap rallied more than 8 per cent, whereas BNB jumped 7 per cent. Polkadot, Polygon and Avalanche added 3 per cent each.
The global cryptocurrency market cap was trading higher at the $1.08 trillion mark, adding close to two per cent in the last 24 hours. However, the total trading volume dropped more than 14 per cent, close to $65.78 billion.
