Dead By Daylight ‘The Hallowed Blight’ Halloween Event Live now

0

Halloween is nearly coming to us again, and of course, it is a great time to roll out special events. And Dead By Daylight launches new Halloween event “The Hallowed Blight”. It is now live and will be available until November 2, there are daily and seasonal challenges for you to participate in, with a lot of skins, perks, and other bonuses to gather.

To better visualize this horrific event, the developer has explained and described the feature that will take on to this event:

“For the duration, players will be investigating horrific experiments conducted on unwilling specimens injected with toxins from a mysterious plant only found in the world of the Entity. What results is…terrifying: aggressive fluid-filled killers on the hunt for unsuspecting survivors. Survivors are in a rush to collect toxin from plants to fill Vials, though death can interrupt the process. And death is never more than a heartbeat away as Killers will be trying to fill their own Vials, hanging their preys on Cankerous Hooks. For both parties, filling a Vial rewards Putrid Serum, a special event currency that can be traded for wicked Hallowed Blight cosmetic pieces, a Survivor’s Will’o Wisp flashlight or the All Hallows’ Eve Lunchbox (medkit) that glows with ghastly images.”

Of course, it wouldn’t be so great without the Halloween-themed items, that’s why there are also some spooky new items available for both Survivors and Killers. A lot of terrifying new cosmetic items is also available in the in-game store right now.

Not just that, if you don’t have Dead by Daylight yet, you can now get both the game and select DLC at a discounted price for Steam, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 game versions.

If you are not familiar with this game, Dead by Daylight is a multiplayer (4vs1) horror game, one player will have a role to be the savage Killer, and the remaining four players will play as Survivors. The survivors will try to escape to the Killer and avoid being caught, tortured and killed. The Survivors will play in a third-person view to have the advantage of better situational awareness, while the Killer will play in a first-person view to be more focused on its prey.

Don’t also be caught by the deadline of the limited special event, try it now and enjoy your Halloween season, and stay tuned with TechnoCodex to be always updated.
