DOOM and DOOM II getting a Patch Update that will fix lighting, performance, and more

At QuakeCon 2019 event, Bethesda announced that Doom, Doom II, and Doom 3 were coming to a number of different platforms like Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 4. Even the Doom and Doom II will be coming to on mobile platforms like Android and iOS.

While Doom 3 was stable on multiple platforms including console and even runs at 4K resolution and 60 frames per second, Doom and Doom II were facing a lot of problems that were getting reported by millions of players worldwide. Finally, Bethesda listens to the voice of players and decided to release a patch to fix all the issues.

This patch is in the works for both games that target to improve in-game lighting and audio to match the originals, as well as add game performance improvements. However, the publisher didn’t mention an exact date of the arrival of this patch to the titles.
