Working for Marvel Studios has to be one of the more gratifying roles that Hollywood actors wouldn’t mind accepting.
With a vast and expanse world adapted from Marvel comics, actors and actresses have the chance to portray characters that become role models for both kids and adults.
However recently, Wanda Maximoff actress Elizabeth Olsen shared the not-so glamorous part about working for Marvel, as the studio’s contracts forces them to miss out on plying characters in films outside the universe.
During a recent interview with The New York Times, the actress talked about how long schedules for Marvel movies takes away her chances to play different roles that she can enjoy as well.
Olsen further stated that she was frustrated after having to turn down roles in movies like Yorgos Lanthimos dark-comedy “The Lobster,” which featured Colin Farrell, Rachel Weisz, Olivia Colman and Lea Seydoux, as she was signed by Marvel Studios to make her debut as Wand Maximoff in Avengers: Age of Ultron.
However, with her recent outings as Wanda in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and WandaVision, Olsen noted that she wouldn’t reprising in a solo film of her own.
For now, it seems like Olsen isn’t scheduled to return in a Marvel project anytime soon. However, fans will love to know what happens with the Scarlet Witch, but it will interesting to see if she would play in another movie anytime soon.
