Facebook Dating Feature Expands to Canada and Thailand with New Features

0

A lot of people believe in the saying “Love is in the air”, but now, it has been pushed through limits as love is now also on the internet. This has become popular as Facebook’s dating feature has expanded its reach to Canada and Thailand with few new features added.

The dating feature was firstly introduced in Columbia last September for experimental purposes. The test earned a lot of positive feedbacks from Columbians, it has now extended to the other regions as well, on Canada and Thailand to be specific.

The first brand new feature is the Second Look, a feature that will give people the ability to take a “second look” at potential matches they’d previously said no to.  This one is useful as some people are still new into the feature and accidentally did something that they are not aware of.

The second addition is a feature wherein it lets you pause matching in case you already found someone, you are not interested yet, or you just want to live a single life and save it for later use. This is useful especially when a user has matched with someone and want to give them a chance.  But you can still message people you already matched while you are on pause.

Facebook Dating’s Settings was also tweaked, it will show people in reverse chronological order.   Another one is the ability to review a blocked list, and the support for non-metric units such as range and height to get more interactive profile content.

The user interface has also been tweaked.  Scrolling through Groups and Events to unlock will now appear vertically instead of horizontally as before.  Another feature is the preemptive block list, this would give you a capability to search for people in Facebook Dating even if they are not your Facebook friends. These features seem to be great as they are more personal and customizable. Stay tuned with TechnoCodex to be always updated.
