Raveena Tandon and Farah Khan appeared on The Kapil Sharma Show on Sunday. During the show, the choreographer revealed that she was warned by Raveena Tandon, who featured in the original track before she was going to choreograph the remix of Tip Tip Barsa Pani.
Farah mentioned that Raveena asked her not to mess up the song. “Yeh mereko phone kar kar ke bolti thi, ‘Tu maa ki a***h mat karna iss gaane ki’,“ Farah said. The choreographer further added that after the song was out, Raveena was the first one who called her and said, “Faru, you have done a superb job and Katrina is looking superb.”
Kapil asked Raveena if her praise had been genuine. Raveena jokingly said no and added, “Lekin mujhe itna bharosa tha ki agar koi aur karta na gaana, I think waakeiye mein uska dahi batata ho gaya hota. But Farah ke haath mein tha toh I knew that woh respect aur grace toh zaroor rahega.”
Raveena Tandon featured in the original version of Tip Tip Barsa Pani from the movie Mohra (1994). She starred alongside Akshay Kumar in the movie. The song was recreated in Rohit Shetty’s directorial Sooryavanshi and featured Katrina Kaif and Akshay Kumar.
