Fortnite Patch 7.30 includes Controller Support for Android and iOS, 60Hz Support on Selected Phones

0

Fortnite has again got an update 7.30 for all of its platforms including Android, iOS, PS4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and for PC. The major change in this update can be seen for Android and iOS platforms as in this update Fortnite has added Controller support for Android and iOS. This controller support has been waiting for long by its players and now Epic games have added this support for Android and iOS.

Another thing which has added in this update is 60Hz support on some selected Android Smartphones and Solid Gold Limited Time Mode. In addition, there’s also a new weapon added in this update called Chill Granade. However, out of all these updates, the major addition in Fortnite is Controller Support for Android and iOS. As you know, you didn’t get controller support in PUBG, so having this addition in the Fortnite may be regarded as a great change. However, before that players use the old-fashioned Triggers as a Controller in these games, but having controller support will let you enhance your performance in the game.

Now for Android, it supports most of the Bluetooth Controllers including SteelSeries Stratus XL, Gamevice, Xbox One, Razer Raiju, and Moto Gamepad and many more. While in terms of iOS, you can use MFi Controller including Steelseries Nimbus and Gamevice. Also, when a controller will be attached to your device, vibration will be disabled. Apart from that, this update also includes 60Hz support for selected Android phones like Galaxy Note 9 (USA Variant), Huawei Honor View 20, Huawei Mate 20 X.

There’s also some improvements have been done in the Nintendo Switch version. For example, it has now more efficient memory allocation to prevent crashes, textures have been improved to reduce the blurry effect and a few more things. So, overall this update is a complete package with some great additions in the game. However, the major change is the support of Controllers for Android and iOS device.
