Genshin Impact’s biggest update is all set to arrive very soon, and it will be bringing the Sumeru region along with Dendro characters and more.
If you are an avid Genshin Impact player, you might be well aware of how hyped this update has been. Dendro characters are being awaited all the way since the 2.0 Update, with sneak peeks of Baizhu and Yaoyao leaking from the closed beta every now and then. It is finally time for the massive update to make its way to all platforms, and fans are quite excited to get their hands on all the new characters as well as features.
When it comes to the release time of the update, it will start on August 24th at 06:00 (UTC+8) and will be lasting for roughly five hours. As usual, the reward stays at 60 Primogems per hour, with players getting 300 Primogems for the entire duration of the maintenance. It should be noted that if the maintenance extends beyond that, players will get extra Primogems per hour, but if it finishes early, they will still get 300 Primogems. However, one should note that they have to reach Adeventure Rank 5 to be able to get the Primogems, as it is the bare requirement to get the rewards.
As far as the update goes, there is plenty to look forward to. We have new characters Collei and Tighnari as part of the first banner, while Dori will be making its way into the second banner. Alongside that, there is the Sumeru region which will be hosting several new quests, secrets, and more. There is not a lot of time to go for the update to arrive, so it will be interesting to see what other secrets miHoYo has hidden in the update. Not to forget, there is the second anniversary of the game coming up as well, so one can expect some more exciting rewards to arrive in the coming days.
