Google Fit comes to iOS with Apple Health Sync

Google’s very own fitness app, the Google Fit is now making its way to the iOS platform as the company has officially announced the availability of this app on the iOS platform today.

The original Google Fit app was launched by Google for Android devices in the year 2014. Since then, iOS users were eagerly waiting for this app to use on their iPhones and iPads. Well, the wait is finally over now as the much-awaited, Google Fit app is now available for your iPhone and iPad.

Google took years of time to bring their Fitness app to the iOS platform. If you have been using the Google Fit app on your Android device, then you won’t be surprised with its iOs version as both the apps look similar and you will have the same user interface on Android and iOS devices.

The Google Fit app for iOS features the same Step counting features and Heart Rate monitor. Based on your movements, users can select the right option from the available options.

Fortunately, the Google Fit app for iOS device is now compatible to connect and sync with Apple’s own Healthcare apps. You can sync the Google Fit app with Apple’s Sleep Cycle, Headspace etc.

The Google Fit’s data will come from Apple’s own Apple Health app from the device or from the wearOS.

Well, if you are a true Apple fanboy, then this update or availability of the Google Fit app may not surprise you at all.
