Smartwatch makers are in a big competition as they are inventing new things every day to attract new consumers. After waiting for five long years, the tech giant, Google has decided to add Widget-like Tiles feature to its Wear OS. Yes, the company has revealed that they are adding this new feature to the Wear OS.

It’s been five years since Google unveiled its Wear OS for the smartwatches. We have seen a lot of improvements to the Wear OS with new and all innovative features. However, the same new Widget-like Tiles feature was not made available by Google like other Smartwatch Operating Systems. If you’ve been waiting for the same feature, then it is finally coming to your Smartwatch with the new Wear OS update.

Google is making the new feature available via swipe feature on the Smartwatches with right and left swipes. Instead of changing or switching the Watch Face, users will be able to swipe right and left to open a specific app such as Google Assistant or Google Fit or any other. The feature will be fully customizable one and you will be able to make use of it within the Settings menu.

By making the new Tiles feature available for the users, users will be able to pick the selected app and items for this swiping feature. You will be able to arrange the tiles in whatever order you like and it will be ready to work for you. You just need to swipe right or left on the screen of the Smartwatch and it will show up the items as per your order.

Since Google is just making this feature available for the WearOS, currently, the list is short with six items. We have listed down all the six items which you can use with the new Tiles feature on the WearOS compatible Smartwatch.
