After acquiring Waze, we got a hint from an APK Teardown that Google is on its plan to add a feature to add incident reports in Google Map. And now, the previous allegation turned out to be true as some people including a user on Reddit has confirmed that Google is testing out a crash and speed trap reporting in Google Map.

Some Google Map users has started to notice an incident report into their application. As we can see from screenshots that involved users has uploaded, the feature is easy to spot.

Google Map Crash and Speed Trap ReportingThere is a new report button down at the bottom of the screen in the Google Maps UI. If you will tap that button, you can send a report to Google if you have encountered either a crash or a speed trap.

Currently, this only works in navigation mode. Again, this feature is only available to a small number of user, so if it happens that you are supported by this feature, give it a try now.
