The search giant, Google has recently pushed a new update to its popular Google Calendar app. The new update of the Calendar app brings an upgraded Working Hours feature to the app. This new Working hour will let your colleagues know a suitable time to work with you.

If you are an active user of Google’s Calendar app, then you should notice a number of changes to the app. The first change that you will see in the app is working hours now show in grid view. When you share your working hours with your colleagues, then they will show it with the grid.

If you create an event on Google Calendar outside the working hours, then you will see a warning message on the system as a notification. This will alert you that you have scheduled the event timing outside your working hours. This is a good thing to let you remind about the working hours of yours.

If you have scheduled an event by mistake, then this alert feature can help you edit the details about the event time and other things.

Thankfully, Working Hours is turned On for all the users of Google Calendar app by default. Yes, the new update has made this feature enable each and every user of the Calendar app. You don’t need to manually enable the feature as it is turned On by default.

This new set of features and improvements to the existing Google Calendar app makes it easier for your team and colleagues to know about each other’s working hours. This also reduces the time to set up a meeting or to have a discussion.

When you update the app, you will see a message on your screen that says the Working Hours feature is enabled by default on the Calendar app. You will be asked to add your working hours and more details so that your colleagues and team members can also see it.

Of course, you can even disable this feature by simply clicking on to the Settings option. Just click the Settings option and then disable option besides the Working Hours feature.
