Google Pixel 4 may come with a 16MP Telephoto Lens

0

Last month, we have seen a rough design of Google Pixel 4 that was officially teased by the company. The design shows us the Pixel’s first dual-rear camera setup that was settled on a huge camera bump.

When the images of Pixel 4 was shared by the company, everyone was wondering what the secondary unit will be, either a telephoto lens or an ultra-wide lens. Even some of them expected that Google will settle both of these lenses along with the primary camera in a triple arrangement.

Well, according to some codes found in the Google camera app, there will be a 16MP telephoto lens along with a normal wide primary lens. This is not good news for fans of ultra-wide shots, but that might be the bitter truth for them.

The developers of the Google Camera app have already started to work on supporting the Pixel 4, with multiple references found throughout the code. A front IR sensor will be new too on the next-gen Pixel, which will aid in the new face authentication feature recently uncovered in the latest Android Q Beta.
