Princess Eugenie’s engagement ring from Jack has a rare coral-coloured padparadscha sapphire at its centre.
Rather than the traditional dark blue colour commonly associated with sapphires, the padparadscha sapphire is famed for its pink-orange hue.
Jack actually didn’t propose to Eugenie with the ring, despite choosing the unique stone at a jeweller beforehand, to ensure Eugenie could “sign off” on the ring before he purchased it.
