HP Pavilion 15 and HP Omen 15 gaming laptops launched in India: Price, Specifications and More

HP has today launched two new gaming laptops – the HP Pavilion 15 and HP Omen 15 in India. The former is targeted towards the mainstream, budget gamers, while the later has been launched for a premium, high-end gaming audience.

HP Pavilion 15 and HP Omen 15 Gaming Laptops Pricing and Availability

HP Pavilion 15 comes with the with a starting price of Rs 74,990, while the Omen 15 laptop is now available at a price starting Rs 1,05,990. Both the variants are available to purchase via HP offline and online partners across the country.

HP Omen 15 Gaming Laptop Specifications

The HP Omen 15 Gaming Laptop runs on Windows 10 and sports a 15.6” Ultra-HD (1920×1080 pixels) 16:9 backlit widescreen IPS anti-glare display with 300 nits brightness and 144Hz refresh rate, and pixel density of 144ppi. The laptop is powered by the latest 8th gen Intel Core i7-8750H processor with a base frequency of 2.2GHz and it can clocks up to 4.1GHz with Intel Turbo Boost. It comes with Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050Ti with an option of GeForce GTX 1060 and a GeForce GTX 107 GPU. It also has Intel UHD Graphics 630 built-in. The laptop offers 8GB/ 16GB/ 32GB of 2666MHz DDR4 RAM and1TB HDD (7200RPM) along with 128GB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD.

The HP Omen 15 Gaming Laptop is fuelled by a 52.5Whr battery with fast charging support. In terms of I/O, the HP Pavilion 15 Gaming Laptop contains 1 USB 3.1 Type-C Gen 1, 3 USB 3.1 Gen 1, 1 headphone jack, 1 RJ-45, and an HDMI v2.0 port. Connectivity options include Bluetooth v5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, MU-MIMO, with an option of Miracast as well. It measures 359.9 x 262.9 x 24.9mm and weighs 2.38kg.

The laptop is powered by up to a Core i7-8750H 8Th generation processor coupled with up to 4GB GDDR5 Nvidia GeForce GTZ 1050Ti graphics and it also has Intel UHD Graphics 630 built-in. It offers 8GB of 2666MHz DDR4 RAM and1TB HDD (7200RPM). The top-end models also have 128GB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD.

The company has also announced certain gaming accessories in the Omen series. These include the Omen by HP Sequencer keyboard comes with the price tag of Rs. 10,999, the Omen by HP Reactor mouse priced at Rs. 3,499, and the Omen by HP Transceptor backpack with a price tag of Rs. 11,999. These accessories will be available in India from August 2018. The Omen Mouse 600 and Mouse 800 are available at a price tag of Rs 4,999 and Rs 6,999 respectively.
