HTC U12+ with Four Cameras Appeared Online

HTC U12+ is the next flagship smartphone from the Taiwanese manufacturer, the smartphone is expected to arrive in early May. It has been surfacing online for quite a few times, now some real-life images of the HTC U12+ have popped up at a Taiwanese screen protector company.

The Leaked images suggest that the phone is going to have two cameras on the back, lined up horizontally, along with a dual-LED flash and a circular fingerprint scanner below the cam setup. And two more on the front right next to the earpiece. The smartphone is likely to feature an 18:9 display.

Based on previous leaks, the HTC U12+ will runs on Android 8.0 Oreo operating system with HTC Sense UI on top of it. It will sports a 6” Quad HD+ (2880 x 1440 pixels) Super LCD 6 display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The smartphone will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 octa-core coupled with Adreno 630 GPU. It offers 6GB of RAM and 64GB/ 128GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 2TB via microSD card.

For photography, the HTC U12+ comes equipped with a dual rear camera setup with the combination of a 12MP and a 16MP sensor along with LED flash support. On the front, there is another dual camera setup which includes two 8MP sensors with Real-time bokeh effects.

The HTC U12+ is expected to be fueled by a 3420mAh battery with fast charging and wireless charging support. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4 and 5 GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS with GLONASS, NFC, and USB Type-C port.
