Huawei has launched its latest 2-in-1 convertible laptop at an ongoing conference in Shanghai. Huawei MateBook E 2019 is the company’s latest convertible laptop with 4G LTE connectivity. Until now, Huawei launched its MateBook powered by Intel processors, but this time Huawei has gone beyond the Intel and choose the Qualcomm Snapdragon 850 Chips for the MateBook E 2019. Apart from this, the newest member in the MateBook family covers a lot of features such as fast charging, Huawei Share support, a fingerprint scanner and a lot more.
Huawei MateBook E 2019 Specifications
The all new Huawei MateBook E 2019 is the successor of MateBook E which was launched back in 2017. But this time, Huawei has shipped this 2-in-1 convertible with advanced technology. Huawei MateBook E 2019 features a 12-inch 2K (2160×1440 pixels) IPS display with 160-degrees viewing angle. The display is equipped with 350 nits peak brightness and has a smudge-proof coating on the top.
Under the hood, Huawei MateBook E 2019 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 850 CPU which is paired with 8GB of RAM and Adreno 630 GPU to for high-end graphical performance. Additionally, it comes with two storage options – one is 256GB and other is 512GB of UFS storage.
Furthermore, the device sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera for video calling. Huawei MateBook E 2019 has a battery capacity of 36.3Wh with the support of fast charging which can charge this device from 0-88% within 90 minutes. Also, the company is claiming that the Huawei MateBook E 2019 can withstand up to 10 hours on continuous full-HD video playback which is incredible. Apart from this, Huawei MateBook E 2019 is faster than ever in both online and offline data transfer. This device comes with a single USB Type-C port for faster data transfer and also equipped with 4G LTE connectivity via eSIM technology and Nano-SIM cards. Moreover, MateBook E 2019 is equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a 3.5mm audio jack at the other side. Wireless connectivity includes Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (with support for 5GHZ 2×2 MIMO standard).
Huawei MateBook E 2019 Price and Availability
As of now, Huawei MateBook E 2019 is launched only in China. There is no word from the company about its global availability. As for the price, Huawei MateBook E 2019 is priced at CNY 3,999 (approx Rs. 41,000) for the base variant with 256GB of internal storage. While the higher-end variant with 512GB Storage goes for CNY 4,999. (approx Rs. 51,000).
Both the variants will be available in Titanium Ash and Charm Sea Blue color options. As for the availability, both the variants of this device is now available for Pre-Orders in China.
