Huawei has today launched its latest Nova-Series smartphone – The Huawei Nova 3 in China. The main highlights of the smartphone are Huawei’s HiSilicon Kirin 970 flagship processor coupled with Huawei’s GPU Turbo technology and AI-powered dual rear cameras along with dual camera setup at the front as well.

The smartphone is now currently available for pre-orders through Vmall in China. The pricing will be revealed on July 18 and it will go on sale starting July 20. It comes in purple, Black, Blue, and Gold colour options.
Huawei Nova 3 Specifications
The Huawei Nova 3 runs on EMUI 8.2 based on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system. It sports a 6.3” full HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) 19.5:9 display with 85 percent NTSC colour gamut. The smartphone is powered by a 2.36 GHz Huawei HiSilicon Kirin 970 octa-core processor coupled with Mali-G72 GPU with GPU Turbo technology. It offers 6GB of RAM and 64GB/ 128GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card.
For photography, the Huawei Nova 3 comes equipped with a dual rear camera setup with a combination of a 16MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and PDAF and a 24MP secondary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and LED flash support. It supports AI scene recognition that is claimed to be capable of detecting over 500 scenes. On the front, it has another dual camera setup with a combination of a 24MP primary sensor with f/2.0 aperture and a 2MP secondary sensor. The front camera is equipped with facial recognition technology as well as 3D Qmoji.
The Huawei Nova 3 is fuelled by a 3750mAh battery. Connectivity options include dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, an USB Type-C port. It measures 157×73.7×7.3mm and weighs 165 grams.
