Huawei Watch GT Elegant, Watch GT Active, Power Bank, Smart Eyewear, Neckbuds, and Earbuds Announced at Event
Along with the two new flagship smartphones – P30 and P30 Pro, Huawei also launched some gadgets. These include new variants of Huawei Watch GT, 12,000mAh power bank, neck buds, wireless earbuds, and at last, smart Eyewear. Let’s have a detailed look at these cool gadgets.
Starting from the Watch GT which debuted last month in the US and now got two new entries in the existing collection. Huawei Watch GT Active comes with a redesigned bezels and a Titanium gray case. However, there aren’t any changes made in the internal structure from the prior one. Moreover, it comes in two new color options – green and orange. The company claims to deliver two weeks of battery life on Watch GT active which is amazing. As for the price, the Watch GT active goes for €249 (Rs 19,000 approx).
The second entry in the collection is the Huawei Watch GT Elegant which comes with a smaller 42mm ceramic bezel featuring a 1.2-inch AMOLED display with a 390 x 390 pixels resolution. The Watch GT Elegant will offer a battery backup of 1 week and comes with heart-rate monitoring enabled by default. Both of these watches are loaded with GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO technology for precise location tracking. As for the price, the Watch GT active goes for €229 (Rs 17,499 approx).
Apart from this, Huawei launched a new 12,000mAh power bank which comes with 40W SuperCharge technology. It can charge your mobile as well as your PC quickly. However, this power bank is specially made for Huawei P30 and P30 Pro to charge them with lightning speed. This power bank costs €99 (Rs 7,499 approx).
Furthermore, Huawei introduced the FreeBuds Lite which comes with a similar design as that of the AirPod. However, it boasts 12-hour battery life which is quite good. Also, FreeBuds Lite is IPX4 certified splash resistant. These earbuds comes with a battery case similar to AirPods which can be charged wirelessly, even from the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro. FreeBuds Lite will be available in Black and White color options and will be available at a price tag of €119 (Rs 9,000 approx).
Another wearable gadget which launched at this event is the FreeLace NeckBuds which are connected by a cable that clips together with magnetic heads. It comes with USB-C charging port which gives 4-hours of playback time just at 5-minutes of charge. Once on a full charge, it will offer 18-hours of playback time. This NeckBuds will be coming in four color options – Black, White, Orange, and Green. As for the price, FreeLace NeckBuds will costs €99 (Rs 7,499 approx).
At the last, Huawei showcased their first Smart Eyewear which is designed in partnership with Gentle Monster. These smart glasses are paired with Bluetooth module with speakers and microphone onboard for calling purpose. To provide crisp and clear audio, Huawei has used AI noise reduction and beam-forming technologies. They also come with IP67 rated splash and dust resistant. However, more details on these smart glasses will be revealed soon in July 2019.
