On Monday Huawei has launched its new smartphone Y3 2017. The new Y3 is a successor of its last years Y II and comes with an updated specification. The new Y3 2017 will be available in more colour options including Gold, Pink, Blue, white and gray. The pricing and availability of the phone has not been announced by the company yet.
Talking about specification, Huawei Y3 (2017) runs EMUI 4.1 Mini – not the company’s latest EMUI 5.0 – based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system, the phone sports a 5” FWVGA (480×854 pixels) display. The Huawei Y3 (2017) launched in two variants, one is with a quad-core MT6737M SoC clocked at 1.1GHz and second quad-core MT6580M SoC clocked at 1.3GHz along with Mali T720 GPU to handle the graphics, both the varient of Y3 has offered 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. The smartphone measures 145.1×73.7×9.45mm and weighs between 170 and 180 grams.
Coming on optics, the Hwawei Y3 (2017) offers a decent camera options, on the rare side there is an 8MP camera, with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash, while on the front side there is a 2MP camera for taking selfies. as per the company’ Users can press the lower volume button twice to click pictures as well.Connectivity options of the smartphone include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS/ A-GPS. Sensors on the Y3 (2017) include a proximity sensor, an ambient light sensor, and an accelerometer.
The Huawei Y3 (2017) is powered by a 2200mAh battery which claims to give 5 hours of talk-time, the is come with ultra power saving mode, when the battery is low, phone will automatically remind users to enable Ultra Power Saving Mode, which helps in extending the phone’s battery life.
