Hulk has been pictured getting in shape for the new Brazilian football season after ditching his wife and moving on to date her niece. The 36-year-old, whose stacked figure is synonymous with his name, spent four years playing for Porto earlier in his career but is now back in his homeland of Brazil plying his trade for Atletico Mineiro.

Hulk was shown training his legs on the club’s Instagram account this week, even though the new Brasileiro Serie A season isn’t scheduled to get underway until next April. And the striker still appears to have an unbelievable physique.

Hulk bagged 77 goals and 63 assists in 169 matches for Porto between 2008 and 2012. He won four Portuguese league titles and the Europa League during his time at the Estadio do Dragao but quit the club to join Zenit Saint Petersburg in a £60million move.

After winning the league title during a four-year stint in Russia, the striker spent five years plying his trade for Shanghai SIPG in China, where he reportedly earnt a staggering £16m per season. He moved to Mineiro in February 2021 and helped his team win the Brazilian title during his first season at the club.

“I gave everything to this girl (Camila) since she came into the world. I sacrificed my dreams so many times to make her dreams come true. And here I’m not just talking about material goods, because these are easy to give when you have money, but love, affection, attention, respect… everything.

“She knew my weaknesses, insecurities, pain, fears and had my unconditional love. She managed my life, and for me everything that she said was good, it was correct, it was ethical. She was perfect in everything and I gave her the direction of my life.”
