“I Hope It Never Ends”- Daredevil Actor Charlie Cox Wants to Play the Marvel Superhero for as Long as Possible
When it comes to the best comic book castings, Charlie Cox as The Man Without Fear is right up there at the top.
Cox played the popular comic book character on the hit Marvel Netflix show Daredevil, while also appearing as a cameo on shows like The Defenders.
Recently, his name cropped up again after Matt Murdock appeared as Peter Parker’s lawyer on Spider-Man: No Way Home, and fans don’t want this to be a one-and-done appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Following Murdock’s arrival on No Way Home, the Netflix show has now became canon to the MCU. Moreover, Daredevil’s primary villain in Vincent D’Onofrio’s Wilson Fisk also played the role of the main antagonist in the recently concluded Hawkeye Disney+ show.

Since then, fans have clamored for the Daredevil series to return after its Netflix run ended with three mind-blowing seasons, and it seems like Charlie Cox has no intentions to stop playing the character at all.
In a recent interview with Supernova, the English actor talked about his love for the character and the show.
“I loved every single minute of making the show. And so, to be asked to come back and to be involved in any capacity is absolutely thrilling to me. And I hope, I don’t want to sound greedy, but I hope I get to do loads more. I hope I get to be involved way, way more for many years. I hope it never ends.”
While it’s unclear whether the MCU will include another season of Daredevil, Cox noted that he would love to return to the MCU after No Way Home, and have a crossover with the other characters in the universe.
“The one thing that being in the MCU allows that we couldn’t really do with the Netflix stuff, is that I can now interact with other MCU characters. So, that would be really cool. Crossovers is the thing I would like to do next.”
In the end, it seems like The Devil of Hell’s Kitchen has no plans of leaving and both Cox and the legion of MCU fans hope to see Daredevil return soon.
