Smartphone brands are running after the faster charging speeds. Almost every brand is trying to offer the fastest possible charging speeds in their existing or upcoming smartphones. For instance, OnePlus, Oppo, and Xiaomi recently showcased their 150W charging technology at CES this year and in fact, Realme has already launched its smartphones with 150W fast charging support.
It seems that Infinix is also getting ready to jump on the fast charging wagon with its 180W charging technology. The company has teased the 180W fast charging technology called Thunder Charge via a small clip.
The onscreen label on the short clip reads 180W Thunder Charge. The company hasn’t revealed any official charging speed and the time it will take to fully charge a battery. However, the 160W fast charging technology the company teased last year claims to charge a 4000mAh battery in just 10 minutes. However, the company never launched a smartphone with 160W fast charging. Instead, the company launched the Infinix Note 12 VIP with 120W fast charging which claimed to charge the 4500mAh battery in 17 minutes.
Right now, it is also not certain whether the company will launch a smartphone with 180W fast charging in future or not as it hasn’t confirmed anything about it as of now.
