InFocus on Thursday has announced the launch of its new budget-centric smartphone called the InFocus M7s in Taiwan. The main highlight of the smartphone is its dual rear camera setup and 18:9 display in a budget price range. The smartphone comes with the price tag of NT 4,290 ($146/ Rs. 9,355 approx). It will be made available in Platinum Light Gold, Obsidian Black colour options.
Talking about specifications, the InFocus M7s runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system and sports a 5.7” HD+ (720 x 1440 pixel) display with and 18:9 aspect ratio. The display is protected with 2.5D curved glass on top and offers an 82.3 percent screen-to-body ratio. The smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT3737H processor. It offers 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which can be further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.
For photography, the InFocus M7s comes equipped with a dual rear camera setup with a combination of a 13MP primary camera with f/2.0 aperture and a 5 secondary camera with 120-degree wide-angle lens. It offers bokeh mode and full HD video shooting. On the front, there is an 8MP shooter with f/2.2 aperture.
The smartphone is fueled by a 4,000mAH battery that is claimed to offer a 3G talk time of 20 hours and 4G standby time of 528 hours. Connectivity options include Dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, FM radio, and micro USB 2.0 port with OTG support and 3.5mm audio jack. There is also a fingerprint scanner at the back It measures 152.3 x 72.4 x 8.8mm and weighs 148 grams.
