Following the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home, MCU fans knew they were in for a treat as the multiverse allowed past live-action iterations of various characters to return in a seamless manner.

While No Way Home introduced Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield’ versions of Spider-Man, Multiverse of Madness will continue that streak with both new and old versions of Marvel comic book characters.

Fans are still unsure whether the Doctor Strange sequel will play have a big implication in the main universe even though it will introduce countless universes for Marvel to immerse themselves in. But, a new rumor that has surfaced on the internet might have the answer to the million dollar question.

According to a new rumor from MCU leaker, Moth Culture, Marvel might join its many universes into a single universe in the Doctor Strange sequel.

Fans might want to take this news with a grain of salt, but the leak suggests that the 20th Century Fox, Universal and Sony universes will also be part of the MCU.

Following the merger, 20th Century Fox properties such as the X-Men and Fantastic Four will become canon to the MCU. Along with that, while Universal will add the original Hulk featuring Eric Bana franchise to the MCU, Sony will also make its mark in the MCU with its various Spider-Man properties.

With the merger, the MCU will solve its major problem of avoiding confusion among fans as they won’t have to worry about keeping tabs of different universes.

Other than that, this also allows Marvel to pick and choose the past character adaptations that they want in the MCU, while other iterations bite the dust.

In the end, it remains to be seen how Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will handle the different universes, and fans are holding their breath on what crazy stuff they might see in it soon.
