Facebook-owned Instagram gets some new features in it which was announced yesterday at Facebook’s F8 developer’s conference. The company revealed some great changes made to the Instagram Messaging app which includes new donation sticker, new camera and create mode and Shopping from Creators options.
As of now, most of the features announced today will go live only in the US and will soon expand in other regions. Starting from the newly build camera design which will soon integrate a new Create Mode. This new mode allows users to use popular creative tools like effects and interactive stickers. The company says that this new Camera Mode will be available globally soon.
Secondly, we have all new Donation stickers in Instagram which will allow users to donate funds to the Non-Profit organizations directly from the Instagram Stories. Once this feature will be available, users can use it by opening the camera, take or upload a photo, tap the sticker icon and select the donation sticker. Thereafter, they have to select the Non-Profit organization for which they want to support. And done! Once the Story went live, peoples looking to the story will be able to donate money by swiping up. They can also see the raised amount just by swiping up the story.
Last but not least, Instagram will also allow users to do shopping from creators directly from their IG page. One can simply tap on the product to see what there favorite public figure wearing. Once they find something attractive and made their mind to buy them too, they can simply checkout from the Instagram itself without visiting to any external or e-commerce site.
All of the above features are now announced by Instagram and will soon start rolling out globally.
