Intel Arc A380 Graphics Card Available for Sale in India; Here Is All We Know About the GPU Line-Up Including A770, Driver Improvements and More

Intel’s Arc A380 desktop graphics card is the company’s entry-level offering. In terms of power and capability, it can be compared to Nvidia GTX 1650. The GPU became quietly available in India without any official announcement at the time.

The Intel Arc A380 features eight Xe cores, 6 GB of GDDR6 RAM, and eight ray tracing units with a 2000Mhz clock.

The ASRock Intel Arc A380 Challenger ITX OC 6 GB Graphics Card is available at Indian retailers at a price point near Rs. 20,000. At the time of this writing, the card is available on ITGO for Rs. 17,900. MD Computers has listed the card for Rs. 20,399 and Prime ABGB has the card retailing for Rs. 20,668. The card’s price in the US is $139.99, which is around Rs. 11,500.

Intel Arc A770 and A750 Specs, Price, and Release Date

The Intel Arc A770 boasts 8 GB and 16 GB of GDDR6 memory, 32 Xe cores, a 2100MHz clock, and Intel’s Xe graphical architecture. The card also has XeSS support, which is a competitor to AMD’s FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR) and Nvidia’s DLSS. Games such as Ghostwire: Tokyo, Death Stranding: Director’s Cut, and Gotham Knights are confirmed to support XeSS. The A750 features 28 Xe cores, a 2050MHz graphics clock and 8 GB of memory.

Intel also shared some benchmark results of the Arc A770 compared to RTX 3060. The Arc 770 can be seen performing better than the RTX 3060 in many games running at 1080p with ray tracing on.

Intel’s head of Accelerated Computing Systems and Graphics Group (AXG), Raja Koduri, discussed the challenges that came with optimising the card’s drivers. He explained that the first generation of the GPUs was the most difficult, as programmers had to work with an entirely new architecture. He explained that the second generation of the company’s cards will perform better, as a lot of work had to be done to get older games running smoothly.

The Intel Arc A770 16 GB will be available in the US starting October 12 at the price of $349, which is around Rs. 29,000. The 8 GB version is priced at $329, which is around Rs. 27,000. The Arc A750 GPU will also launch on October 12 and will retail for $298, which is approximately Rs. 24,000.
