James Martin addressed an incident that occurred as the Saturday Morning chef revealed those who witnessed the horror were most likely “scarred for life”. The ITV favourite went snowboarding while holidaying in Dubai before the recreational activity took a drastic turn.
The 48-year-old shared his concerns as he opened up about the near-fatal accident as he admitted the aftermath “wasn’t great”.
James explained that he took on the snowboarding challenge in front of schoolchildren.
But the culinary chef admitted he almost “wiped out” the whole room after his snowboarding fail.
The small-screen star revealed that not only did he almost suffer an injury but revealed the children’s school teacher luckily got away unscathed after he almost “decapitated” the person in question.

Speaking on his show, Saturday Morning, James chatted with guest chef Pip Lacey who shared an interest in snowboarding.
The Saturday Morning host quizzed the Michelin cook on whether she had suffered any incidences while out snowboarding.
James mused: “You had a bit of an accident? I went snowboarding once, and I had an accident.
“Apologies to any of the kids that are watching this that have been scarred for life.”
Meanwhile, James recently took a trip down memory lane as the presenter shared a heartwarming throwback snap from his childhood.
The TV chef took to Instagram with some very rare personal photos, taken when the presenter and his sister Charlotte were just children.
The first photo showed the siblings sweetly holding each other’s hands, while the second is of James on his own, standing in the garden.
In view of his 543,000 followers, he captioned: “Stripes never did suit me… Neither did dungarees!”
