Hawkeye’s Jeremy Renner has provided an update on his recovery and has revealed that the snow plowing accident he was involved in left him with over 30 broken bones.

Renner took to Twitter to share the update and he included an image of himself in at home in a hospital bed. He took the time to thank all those who have sent their messages and love and to say he will get through this.

“I want to thank EVERYONE for their messages and thoughtfulness. Much love and appreciation to you all,” Renner wrote. “These 30 plus broken bones will mend, grow stronger, just like the love and bond with family and friends deepens.”

Renner also showed that his sense of humor was intact following a tweet from Captain America actor Chris Evans, in which he said in response to Renner’s tweet, “That’s one tough mf’er. Has anyone even checked on the snowcat??? Sending so much love.”

“Love you brother,” Renner responded. “I did check on the snow cat, she needs fuel.”

On January 1, it was reported that Renner was in “critical but stable” condition after he was involved in a snow plowing accident near Reno, Nevada. It was later revealed that Renner got injured while trying to help a family member who was stuck in the snow. At one point, he got out of his snow plow and it began to roll, he tried to get back in the driver’s seat but it ended up running him over.
