Tyler “Ninja” Blevins’ wife Jessica recently announced that she will step down from her role as the popular streamer’s manager after she ended up in hot water over with the controversy surrounding Twitch content creator Pokimane.
The influencer revealed her decision during an interview with Sportify It, where she explained the reasonings behind her decision to quit as the manager of possibly the biggest streamer of all time.
“We’re realizing that there will come a time, and it may come sooner rather than later, that I won’t be his manager anymore. But with how much I’m doing there’s going to be a time where we need to hire a manager that we can trust. Someone who eats, breathes, and sleeps team Ninja like I have done and I can focus on my own stuff and take a step back.”
In her interview, she noted that this decision allows her to focus more on her streaming and influencer career as she now has a PR team that will work on improving her brand.
“Over the last year I’ve been growing my brand similar to what I did with Tyler. I have a PR team. I signed with CAA. Before I was focusing on Tyler, so now I’m focusing on my brand simultaneously.”

While Jessica has stated that her reasons to step down as Ninja’s manager revolved around the decision to focus on her career, many noted that it could have been caused by her involvement in the Pokimane controversy.
Last month following the Twitch controversy between Jidion and Pokimane, the streaming queen condemned Tyler for trying to help out the former with his suspension.
Tyler later texted Poki to give his stance on the matter. However, he ended his texts on Twitter in a threatening aura, and fans were able to see it as Pokimane showcased it live on her stream.
However, things took a massive turn as Tyler’s wife also contacted Poki through Twitter where she threatened the streamer with a lawsuit.

In the end, the matter subsided with both parties not involving themselves in any legal trouble. However, this move from Jessica might have cost her job as Ninja’s manager.
