Jio True 5G: All 72 cities, towns where 5G network is available


Reliance Jio launched True 5G in four more cities on Friday (January 6). With the roll out of the 5G services in these new cities, the Mukhesh Ambani-led telecom giant is now offering them in total of 72 cities and towns across the country. Jio plans to launch its True 5G services in every town and taluka of India by the end of December 2023.
Jio first launched the next-generation network on October 4 in Delhi, Mumbai, Varanasi and Kolkata. In December, it became the first company to roll out 5G services across 11 cities simultaneously. Those with Jio connections can also experience 5G in Ujjain temples and Guruvayur temple.

  • November 25, 2022: 33-districts of Gujarat

  • December 14, 2022: Ujjain temples
  • December 20, 2022: Kochi, Guruvayur temple
  • December 26, 2022: Tirumala, Vijayawada, Vishakhapatnam, Guntur,
  • December 28, 2022: Lucknow, Trivandrum, Mysuru, Nashik, Aurangabad, Chandigarh, Mohali, Panchkula, Zirakpur, Kharar, Derabassi
  • December 29, 2022: Bhopal, Indore

Jio True 5G rollout: January 2023

  • January 5, 2023: Bhubaneshwar, Cuttack
  • January 6, 2023: Jabalpur, Gwalior, Ludhiana, Siliguri

The company has said that the latest cities to receive Jio’s True 5G service will offer users to enjoy the “transformational benefits of technology.” Jio is inviting users in these places to avail of the Jio Welcome Offer so that they can “experience unlimited data at up to 1Gbps+ speeds, at no additional cost.”
Reliance Jio is the first and the only operator in Madhya Pradesh to launch 5G services across all prominent large cities of the state, including the capital city, Bhopal and Indore. It is also the only telecom giant to have launched 5G services in all 33 districts of Gujarat.
