WWE legend and star of the hit DC series Peacemaker, John Cena, will soon have his very own skin and accompanying cosmetics in the world of Fortnite.
Epic Games revealed the news via a new blog post on their website, which states that John Cena will be stepping into the Fortnite ring on July 28th at 8PM ET. Along with a special outfit, Cena will also have a WWE Championship Title Back Bling, the open-handed Five Digit Slapper Pickaxe, and the U Can’t C Me Emote.
The arrival of John Cena to Fortnite comes as part of the newly announced Epic SummerSlam, which sees the WWE crossover with Fortnite, Rocket League, and Fall Guys. With Fortnite receiving some John Cena cosmetics, both Fall Guys and Rocket League are also getting in on the action.
If you’re a Rocket League player, the Epic SummerSlam will see two iconic WWE Superstars become “Supercars” with some new Octane Decals. Brand new Roman Reigns and John Cena Decals come to Rocket League’s Item Shop at 12 PM ET on Thursday, July 28th.
But the fun doesn’t stop there, as the new Fall Guys SummerSlam Set comes to the game on Thursday, July 28th at 5AM ET. The exclusive set includes three special costumes, which include Asuka, Xavier Woods, and WWE icon The Undertaker.
All of the aforementioned crossovers come just in time for WWE’s big SummerSlam Event, which will take place this Saturday, July 30th. The main event will see Roman Reigns defend his WWE Universal Championship against another legend, Brock Lesnar. Also on the card is Bobby Lashley vs Theory, Liv Morgan vs Ronda Rousey, Logan Paul vs The Miz, and much more.
