In the latest promo shared by Colors TV, filmmaker Karan Johar gets emotional as a contestant plays Abhi Mujhme Kahein song from his film Agneepath (2012).

On being asked by Mithun Chakraborthy why he got emotional, Karan told that the song always reminds him of his father Yash Johar. He said, “Yeh gaana sunke, dada. Kyunki papa ke dil ke itne kareeb thi original film aur jab wo nahi chali thi, unka dil toot gaya tha.”

Karan further added, “Jab ye film humne firse banayi, nothing compared to the original, ye gaana mujhe unki yaad dilata hai in some very strange way.” Mithun also expressed his feelings about Yash Johar and said, “ Chacha was one of the best people and a friend I had. I miss him too.”
