Kathryn Bernardo is set to see her dream home become a reality.
On Instagram the actress shared yesterday, March 10, pictures of her and her family visiting an expansive lot for a groundbreaking ceremony on Monday, March 9.
She announced, “The construction of our dream home has officially begun. I still can’t believe it’s finally happening after 3 years of planning!”
With her were parents Min and Teddy, sister Chrysler, niece Lhexine, boyfriend Daniel Padilla and one of her beloved dogs, Cloud.
Last July, Mommy Min hinted at new beginnings after she posted a picture of her daughter with Padilla and Lhexine on the lot. She simply said, “Soon,” and geotagged Quezon City as the location.
Kathryn has been excited about building her dream home for the past years. She said in talk show “Magandang Buhay” last July that she had bought the lot three years before but that the dream kept getting pushed back because of other priorities.
“Dream ko talaga na mapatayo ‘yung dream house namin ni Mama. Pero hindi kasi joke ang gagastusin, tapos ang daming priorities… So sabi namin baka next year. Tapos patagal na siya ng patagal bago masimulan,” she explained.
(It is really my dream to put up my and my mom’s dream house. But the costs are not a joke and there are many priorities… So we said perhaps next year. And then it kept getting delayed.)
She said, “Gusto ko kasi kapag nagpatayo ng dream house ‘yung gusto na namin, ‘yung nae-envision ni Mama kung ano ang gusto ko, lahat, sa buong family. So hopefully mag-start na ‘yung construction soon. Kayod pa.”
(I want that when I put up our dream house, [it will be] one that my mom and I envision based on what I like, everything, for the whole family. So hopefully construction starts soon. I have to keep working hard.) /ra
