King Charles offered help by Queen fan Snoop Dogg after A-List snubs | Celebrity News | Showbiz & TV

Californian hip hop legend Snoop Dogg, 51, has offered to step up to help King Charles III, 74, in a way that British music icons; including Adele, Elton John and Ed Sheeran have all been unable to do.

When he was informed that the new King was looking for performers for his Coronation Concert, which is fast approaching, Snoop declared in an exclusive interview with Express.co.uk that the monarch should give him a call.

The Drop It Like It’s Hot rapper explained that he would grace the stage at Windsor Castle due to his appreciation and respect for King Charles’ late mother, Queen Elizabeth II, who sadly died last year.

He exclaimed while speaking to Express.co.uk at the launch of his new game, Hot Box, created with online crypto casino Roobet: “Tell Charles to give me a holla!

“The Queen was already my girl, the Queen was my gal, she was my kind of gal.

“So all the Prince has to do is say, ‘check it out Dogg, I need you in the house’, and I’ll show up and show out!”

However, Snoop had one request for the King in exchange for his appearance at the Coronation.

The music mogul added: “The only way I would perform is if they give me one of them uniforms to wear – the red.”

When quizzed on whether he was referring to the iconic uniform worn by the famous King’s Guard, Snoop enthused: “Yeah, yes, yes!

“I think I would [look amazing in that] too!

“I’ve always wanted to wear one of those, that just looked so fly to me.”

It’s not the first time that Snoop has shared his love for the Royal Family, after he was protected by the Queen back in the ‘90s.

Snoop, real name Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., was charged for first-degree murder in 1993, while he was touring in the UK at the time.

The star and his bodyguard were arrested after a man was shot dead in Los Angeles.

The charges against the pair were later dropped, but he has since revealed it was Queen Elizabeth II who allowed him to stay in the UK to continue with his tour when he was facing the murder charges.

In a 2022 interview with DJ Whoo Kid on YouTube, Snoop Dogg recalled one UK newspaper headline reading “Kick this evil b***** out”.

Snoop told the DJ: “This was while I was fighting a murder case and over in the UK doing shows. But guess who came to my defence? The Queen!

“She said ‘This man has done nothing in our country. He can come’.”

He continued: “Bow down… when the Queen speaks, bow down. That’s Harry and William’s grandmother. You dig?

“You think one of them said ‘Grandma, please let him in grandma! He’s okay, we love his music’?”

“Thank you Queen, I love you baby,” Snoop chuckled.

Both Snoop and his bodyguard were acquitted of murder in 1996.
