Lenovo on Tuesday has launched a new smartphone, the Lenovo K8, in India. The smartphone is priced at Rs. 10,499 and will be available to purchase from select retail stores across the country in in Venom Black and Fine gold colour options.
To recall, the Lenovo K8 was firs announce earlier this month with the launch of K8 Plus in India, and was expected to launch soon. Now company has made the device avilable in India. It sports a full metal uni-body design similar to K8 Plus; there is a single rear camera on the back unlike the dual-rear camera setup on K8 Plus.
Coming on specifications, the Lonovo K8 runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system and sports a 5.2” HD (1280×720 pixels) display. The smartphone is powered by up to 2.3GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P20 processor coupled with Mali T880 MP2 GPU. It offers 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage wich is further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card with a dedicated card slot.
On the Camera front it sports a single 13MP front camera with PDAF and LED flash along with 8MP front facing camera with Party flash for taking selfies and making video calls. Lenovo K8 is fueled by a 4000mAh battery which is claim to give two days backup on normal usage. Connectivity options include dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, GPS, WiFi and micro USB port.
