NEW ELHI: Lenovo has launched its next-generation gaming smartphone called Legion Phone Duel 2 in China. The gaming smartphone is the first from the company to come with 18GB of RAM and packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor.
Lenovo Legion Phone Duel 2 comes with a dual cooling system that includes liquid cooling, dual fans and independent air ducts made of pure copper. The company claims that this liquid cooling system quickly dissipates the heat via dual air outlets on both sides.
Lenovo has also added an independent display chip to meet different control needs of players. The smartphone also comes with six customisable touchpoints placed inside the middle frame.
The smartphone also comes with a coating of Corning Gorilla Glass on the front and back and an all metal-middle frame.
Lenovo Legion Phone Duel 2 comes with a starting price tag of 3,699 yuan (Rs 42,100) and it can be purchased in Dawn and Gradient colour options. The company is soon expected to launch the smartphone in Asia-Pacific and European markets.
Lenovo Legion Phone Duel 2 specifications
Lenovo Legion Phone Duel 2 comes with a 6.92-inch full HD+ display with 1080×2340 pixel resolution. The display offers a 144Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor paired with Adreno 660 GPU.
The gaming smartphone comes in four RAM options — 8GB/12GB/16GB and 18GB. The device comes in three storage options — 128GB/256GB and 512GB. Lenovo Legion Phone Duel 2 runs Android 11 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of ZUI 12.5.
The dual SIM smartphone comes equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor. The smartphone sports a dual rear camera with a 64MP main sensor and 16MP ultra-wide angle lens. The front houses a 44MP pop-up camera for selfies.
Lenovo Legion Phone Duel 2 comes with dual speakers and 4 microphones. It also offers multicolour LED and dual ultrasonic gaming sensors. The smartphone is backed by a 5000 mAh battery with 90W fast charging support.
