Lenovo S5 Alongside Lenovo K5, K5 Lite with 18:9 displays, dual rear cameras Launched
Expanding its portfolio, Lenovo has today launched three new smartphones including Lenovo S5, Lenovo K5 and Levono K5 Lite in China. The Lenovo S5 comes with a price tag of 999 Yuan (S$ 157/ Rs. 10,289 approx.) for the 3GB RAM and 32GB storage variant, 1199 Yuan (S$ 189/ Rs. 12,349 approx.) for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant and 1499 yuan (S $ 236 / Rs. 15,440 approx.) for the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The Lenovo K5 and K5 Lite are priced at 899 Yuan (S$ 142 / Rs.9,261 approx.) and 699 Yuan (S$ 110 / Rs. 7,200 approx) respectively. All three models are up for registrations and will go on sale from Friday, March 23.
The Lenovo S5 runs on ZUI 3.7 based on Android 8.0 Oreo operating system. It sports a 5.7” full-HD+ (1080×2160 pixels) 18:9 IPS display with 2.D curved glass on top. The smartphone is powered by up to 2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor coupled with Adreno 506 GPU. As mentioned above, 3GB RAM with 32GB of internal storage, 4GB RAM with 64GB / 128GB of internal storage options. The storage can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.
For photography, the Lenovo S5 comes equipped with a dual rear camera setup with a combination of 13MP monochrome primary sensor and 13MP RGB secondary sensor with f/2.2 aperture. On the front, it has a 16MP selfie shooter with real-time AI face beautify and face unlock feature.
The Levono S5 is fueled by a 3000mAh battery. Connectivity options include Dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and USB Type-C port. It measures 154×73.5×7.8 mm and weight 155 grams. It will be made available in Red and Black color options.
Lenovo K5 and K5 Lite
The Lenovo K5 and K5 Lite run on ZUI 3.7 based on Android 8.0 Oreo operating system. They sports a 5.7” HD+ (1440 x 720 pixels) 18:9 IPS display with 2.D curved glass on top. The Lenovo K5 is powered by the MediaTek MT650 octa-core processor coupled with Mali T860 GPU. It offers 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. While the K5 Lite is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor coupled with Adreno 505 GPU. It offers 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The storage of both the phones can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.
For photography, the Lenovo K5 comes equipped with a dual rear camera setup with a combination of a 13MP primary sensor f/2.0 aperture and 5MP secondary sensor with f/2.2 aperture. While the K5 Lite sports a 2MP secondary sensor f/2.4 aperture. On the front, both the smartphones have 8MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture.
Both Lenovo K5 and K5 Lite are fueled by a 3000mAh battery. Connectivity options include Dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and micro USB port. Both of them will be available in Black, Grey, and Blue color options.
