LG today has announced the launch of its new budget-centric smartphone, LG K7i, at Indian Mobile Congress 2017. The news smartphone comes with the price tag of Rs. 7,990 and will be available to purchase soon.
The main highlight of the LG K7i is its new Mosquito Away technology. This kind of technology had never been seen on a smartphone. There is a big speaker like module given at the back of the device which throws ultrasonic sound waves that keep the mosquitoes out of sight. Company claims that it is completely safe for humans.
Talking about specifications, the LG K7i runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and sports a 5-inch In-Cell HD (1280×720 pixels) display. The smartphone is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core processor (maker unspecified). It offers 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.
For photography, the LG K7i comes with an 8MP primary camera with Burst Shot feature which will allow users to take up to 10 continuous photos along with LED flash support. On the front there is a 5MP front facing camera with Gesture mode; user will have to close their hands to activate the 3-second timer without using a physical button. It also feature screen-flash support for taking better selfies.
The smartphone is fueled by a 2,500mAh battery. Connectivity options include dual-SIM support, 4G/3G connectivity, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, NFC, A-GPS, and microUSB 2.0.
