LG K8 (2018) with Snapdragon 210 Launched in Russia as LG K9
LG has launched its budget-centric smartphone the LG K8 (2018) under the brand LG K9 in Russia. To recall, the LG K8 (2018) was first unveiled at MWC 2018 in Barcelona. The smartphone comes with the price tag of RUB 9,990 (Rs. 11,400 approx.)
Talking about the specifications, the LG K9 runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat operating system and sports a sports a 5” HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top. The smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 quad-core processor coupled with Adreno 304 GPU. It offers 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 2TB via microSD card.
For photography, the LG K9 comes with an 8MP rear-facing camera with LED flash support for better lowlight capturing, it offers features like touch focus, face detection, HDR. On the front, it has a 5MP shooter for selfies and video calls. The camera UX feature offers features like auto Shot, Gesture Shot, Flash for Selfie, and Quick Share.
The LG K9 is fueled by a 2500mAh battery with fast charging support. Connectivity options include Dual-SIM support, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, and USB 2.0 port. Sensors on board include Accelerometer, proximity sensor, Digital Compass, and Gyroscope. There is also fingerprint scanner on the back. It measures 146.3×73.2×8.2mm and weighs 152 grams.
