LG Q6+ with 5.5” FullVision Display Launched in India

LG on Wednesday has launched another variant of its Q6 series in India dubbed as LG Q6+. The device comes with the price tag of Rs. 17,990, and will be made available across the country from Wednesday itself via offline retail outlets in Astro Black and Ice Platinum colour options.

To recall company has launched the LG Q6 smartphone back in last month, both the device looks identical, the only difference between the two is in their RAM and storage. The LG Q6+ comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, while the earlier launched Q6 comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which is priced at Rs. 14,990.

The highlight on the LG Q6+ is its 5.5” FullVision display that comes with taller-than-usual aspect ratio of 18:9 and has curved edges as well. The smartphone comes with face unlock feature as well. The Device also got the MIL-STD 810G military certification.

Coming on specifications, the LG Q6+ runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system with LG UX 6.0 UI on top and sports a 5.5”full-HD (1080×2160 pixels) display with the pixel density of 442ppi. The device is powered by a 64-bit 1.4GHz octa-core Snapdragon 435 SoC coupled with Adreno 505 GPU. As mentioned above it offers 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 2TB via microSD card.

As for the camera, the LG Q6 sports a 13MP rare camera with LED flash. On the front, there is a 5MP camera with 100-degree wide-angle lens. Connectivity options of LG Q6 include dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, NFC, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors on board include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, and proximity sensor. The device is fueled by a 3000mAh battery. It measures 142.5 x 69.3 x 8.1 mm and weighs 149 grams.
