With most of the smartphone makers like Samsung and Huawei is aiming to foldable smartphones, LG is also stepping down into the foldable smartphone market but with a different approach.
Earlier in February 2019, LG has launched V50 ThinQ that features an additional detachable screen that acts as dual-screen for the phone making it work like a foldable smartphone. The Dual Screen folio case came with a 6.2-inch OLED panel and offered users the utility of a secondary screen for multitasking, playing games or taking photos.
Now LG is using the same screen technology but with a completely new idea. The company teases a small teaser of the upcoming LG V60 ThinQ that will be announced at IFA Berlin this September. The new smartphone comes features an additional display that looks identical to the size of the actual screen.
Unlike to the secondary display of LG V50 ThinQ, the second display on this smartphone comes with a smaller diagonal and thicker bezels. In addition, the second-gen Display Screen case will also feature a small outer display for notifications, time and date.
As of now, there are no details revealed about this smartphone, we can expect some more details on this smartphone by the time we reach closer to the launch date.
