Logitech released the wireless version of its most popular G502 Hero gaming mouse which is still available in the market. The wireless version of this gaming mouse is named as Logitech G502 Lightspeed due to its blazing fast performance. Although the design of this mouse is very similar to that of its predecessor but comes with some minor refinements in the design.
Logitech G502 Lightspeed comes with 11 customizable buttons and includes a variety of weights to tweak how quickly you drag the mouse on a mousepad. Apart from this, the company has shipped this mouse with Lightsync LEDs light up which gives it an amazing look in the dark room.
Similar to its wired variant, the G502 Lightspeed comes with Hero 16K sensor which offers sensitivity up to 16,000 DPI and tracking at 400+ IPS to optimize responsiveness and accuracy. In addition, it also comes with a 1ms report rate making it able to minimize lag.
The G502 Lightspeed uses Logitech’s PowerPlay wireless charging system which ensures to deliver up to 48 hours of use on a single charge with default lighting, or up to 60 hours with the lights off. That means you can continue to non-stop gaming for 2 days once on a single charge which is quite promising.
As for its availability, the company didn’t disclose the exact date of its availability, but it will be made available into the market by the last of this month. The G502 Lightspeed costs $150 which is quite higher than some other premium gaming mouse. However, this is a great piece of stuff for gaming enthusiasts who really want to get rid of tangled wires completely.
