Apple’s latest MacBook Air M2 is set to go on sale starting tomorrow and ahead of that, the internal design of the laptop has surfaced online. 9to5Mac has dropped the first images of the internal design of the MacBook Air M2.
The images reveal the complete internal design of the laptop including the new placement of the speakers, 3.5mm audio jack and more.
According to the images published by the website, most clearly shows that the speakers in the new MacBook Air M2 is placed below the hinge which is different compared to the previous generation.
Now, Apple is known for offering really good speakers in their MacBook devices and the previous-generation MacBook M1 was no different. However, it is yet to be seen how the new position of the speakers will affect the audio quality on the laptop.
The images also show the position of the headphone jack, speakers and USB Type-C ports of the laptop.
The images also show the battery placement of the laptop and the Force Touch trackpad. The battery setup on the laptop is the typical Apple’s three-part battery setup with a single long unit is placed at the center of the laptop and two small batteries separated by the Force Touch trackpad is placed towards the front of the laptop.
As expected, the laptop features a fan-less design like the previous generation model. However, it appears that Apple has increased the size of the heat sink.
