Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is all set to be one of Marvel’s biggest blockbusters since the release of movies such as Avengers: Endgame and Spider-Man: No Way Home.

The movie will be headlined by Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor turned Sorcerer, along with Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlet Witch and Rachel McAdams as Christine Palmer.

While the movie will focus on Scarlet Witch and Doctor Strange, the sequel will also heavily explore the Marvel multiverse, and hence why, it seems like the Sam Raimi-directed flick will feature a ton of cameos.

So far, fans have theorized about characters such as Deadpool and actors like Tom Cruise to make an appearance in the upcoming movie.

Moreover, some of these cameos such as Sir Patrick Stewart’s Professor X has already been confirmed as well.

It’s been reported that Marvel are testing out a ton of cameos with test audiences to gauge their reactions, and following the success of Spider-Man: No Way Home, it seems like the company’s all in on surprise appearances.

Moreover, to add more cameos and new scenes, the movie recently had some reshoots, and it was even confirmed by Sam Raimi’s frequent collaborator in Bruce Campbell.

The actor has played various roles in Spider-Man movies over the years, and in a recent Reddit post, a fan shared that Campbell told him about the Doctor Strange sequel undergoing a ton of reshoots to the point where even he doesn’t know what will happen.

While most fans expected to see minor additions with the reshoots, they certainly didn’t expect the crew filming scenes that might change the movie drastically.

It’s unclear whether the reshoots involved just cameos. However, as of right now, it seems like the movie looks massively different from the version Marvel had when the filming ended for the first time.

It remains to be seen how the movie will play out when it arrives later year, as it looks like the sequel holds the key to Marvel’s future.
