Meizu E3 With Snapdragon 636 and Dual Rear Cameras Goes Official
Meizu has today finally announced the long-rumored Meizu E3 smartphone in China. The smartphone comes with the price tag of 1,799 Yuan ($285/ Rs. 18,528 approx.) for 64GB storage variant whereas the whereas 128GB storage model has a price tag of 1,999 Yuan ($315/ Rs. 20,585 approx.). The smartphone will be available for reservations from today at 4 PM and goes on sale in China from March 31. It comes in Blue, Black and Gold colour options.
Talking about the specifications, the Meizu E3 runs on Flyme OS 6.3 based on Android 7.1.2 Nougat operating system. It sports a 5.99” Full HD+ (2160 × 1080 pixels) 18:9 2.5D curved glass LTPS In-Cell display with 83% NTSC Color Gamut. The smartphone is powered by a 1.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 octa-core processor coupled with Adreno 509 GPU. It offers 6GB of LPDRR4X RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.
For Photography, the Meizu E3 comes equipped with a dual rear camera setup with a combination of a 12MP primary Sony IMX362 sensor with f/1.9 aperture, 1.4μm pixel size and a 20MP secondary Sony IMX350 sensor with f/2.6 aperture. It features dual-tone LED flash along with dual PD full-pixel focus for 0.026s fast focus, it can capture depth information for portrait shots with bokeh effect, The rear camera offers 1.8x optical zoom and 2.5x loss-less zoom. On the front, it has an 8MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture and With ArcSoft algorithm, it can optimize the skin tone while capturing selfie shots. The front camera also supports Face Unlock feature.
The Meizu E3 is fueled by a 3360mAh battery with 20W fast charging support. The battery is rated to deliver 6 hours of online video streaming, 86 hour of video playback and continuous gaming for nearly 6 hours. The smartphone also comes with cold mCharge technology that offers 20W fast charging and ensures that the temperature remains low while charging the Meizu E3 rapidly. It allows the handset to gain 53 percent of battery power in 30 minutes. Connectivity options include Dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, and USB Type-C port. The smartphone also features the mBack button that can unlock the phone in 0.2 seconds and support for various gestures for accessing the home screen, Back function and recently used apps. It measures 156.8 x 75 x 7.6 mm and weighs 160 grams.
