After tons of rumors and leaks, Meizu has officially released its latest mid-segment phone Meizu Note 9. The all-new Meizu Note 9 is launched today in China. This is the successor of Note 8 which was launched last year in China and got a good response from the audience. Although, Note 9 looks very similar to that of its predecessor Note 8 but is actually loaded with some great features. And one among them is the 48-megapixel dual rear camera setup. Also, this phone is powered by Qualcomm’s mid-range processor.
Meizu Note 9 Specifications
Meizu Note 9 sports a 6.3-inch Full-HD+ (1080×2340 pixel) resolution display with waterdrop notch at the front and has 89.23 percent screen-to-body ratio. It features a physical fingerprint sensor mounted at the back panel.
Moreover, Meizu Note 9 is powered by octa-core Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 675 SoC which is based on the 10nm fabrication process and is coupled with 4GB/6GB RAM variants. Also, this phone comes with 64GB/128GB of inbuilt storage which can be further extended via a MicroSD card.
As mentioned above, Meizu Note 9 features dual rear camera setup which includes a 48-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL GM1 sensor with f/1.7 aperture which is accompanied by a 5-megapixel depth sensor and LED flash. At the front, there is 20-megapixel selfie shooter sits inside the notch to capture selfies and for video calling. Meizu claims the camera suitable for low-light photography and is loaded with some AI-powered features.
Furthermore, Meizu Note 9 is rich in connectivity options as it includes dual-SIM support, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS/ GLONASS, and USB Type-C port for charging. Also, this phone houses a huge 4,000mAh battery and comes with 18W mCharge fast charging support.
Meizu Note 9 Price and Availability
Meizu Note 9 is set to available at a price tag of RMB 1,398 ($208) for the 4GB + 64GB variant while the 6GB + 64GB variants go for RMB 1,598 ($238). At the last, the third 4GB + 128GB variant also goes for RMB 1,598 ($238).
This phone will be available in three color options – Black, White, and Sparkling Blue with a gradient finish and will be going live on sale in China from March 11th onwards.
